"Villago is going to be a beautiful master-planned community enhancing the gateway to our community and we couldn't be more excited about it." - Casa Grande Mayor Charles Walton, Sr.

As a way to keep you informed on the progress of Villago, we will continue to update you at various times throughout the construction process. You'll find it's a great way to get the latest news on Casa Grande's newest master-planned community.

Curbing installation continues in parcel 12.

The rebar is set for the cantilever decks at the faux bridge and lake edges.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Fine grading of the retention and detention basins along the infrastructure continues southbound along the west side of Lakeside Boulevard. The gannon has been hard at work handling the final brushing up of the retention and detention basins in order to make way for irrigation line and landscaping. This will be an ongoing operation through the life of construction.

The groundwork for the major entry monument has begun, with the tower slab and footing already poured and a significant portion of the masonry work completed. The tower will soon begin a vertical ascent.

The irrigation lateral stub-outs along Lakeside Boulevard continue to be installed with two crews from AAA added to the project this month, bringing their manpower up to 24 workers. Ultimately, there will be more than 60 AAA employees onsite.

Streetlights have been ordered by APS and installation is to begin shortly. Meanwhile, the curb grade continues to be cut and the sidewalk and storm drains continue to be installed.

The stem walls and cantilever decks at the faux bridge and lake edges have been installed and are 99 percent complete with just aesthetic touch-up remaining. Prices are currently being accepted for the stone-faced bridge walls that will be installed on the cantilever decks.

The installation of the service panels for the landscape lighting has begun. This lighting will include the dusk-until-dawn lighting around the lakes and in the common areas, lake lighting, and monument lighting, just to name a few areas. Pacific Aquascapes is back on-site and preparing to begin the southern water feature while buttoning up the lake edge and fountain lighting.

ONSITE
The focus of onsite operations has been the curb, gutter, and sidewalk installation, which are happening concurrently in multiple parcels with multiple crews and contractors. Dry utility installation in parcel 15 is expected to wrap up next month. This will complete the underground portion of the dry utility installation.

The perimeter wall installation continues to proceed at an astounding rate and is approximately 70 percent complete across the board. Painting of the perimeter wall has also begun.

OFFSITE
The offsite water installation is 95% complete with minor tie-ins remaining.

One of the best things about making your home at Villago is that you're right next door to a small city filled with old-fashioned charm and lots of fascinating history. Founded in 1879, Casa Grande was named after the nearby Hohokam Indian ruins. Today, Casa Grande still has that special small-town feel, along with a community of friendly people who are proud of their low crime rate and affordable taxes. Casa Grande offers all the essentials, with everything from outlet malls to major department stores, great dining establishments, and two top-quality hospitals –all just minutes away from your home. And with 17 public and private schools in the area – in addition to the planned schools within Villago – you'll have plenty of educational choices for your family.
Working parents will really appreciate the city's two daycare centers for their youngsters. And there's always something to do here – play golf, catch a movie, go bowling, or have a picnic in one of the city's 18 parks. It's everything you could want to live a “grande” life in a relaxed, friendly, small-town setting. Stop by for a look around now at www.visitvillago.com/casagrande.
