Morrison Homes slabs have been poured in parcels 13 and 14.

The perimeter walls continue to be installed along Pinal Avenue and parcels 10, 11 and 12.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Installation of the irrigation main continues and pressure testing has been completed, with all repairs being made. The irrigation laterals continue to be installed at the lakes, up to the sidewalk edge, along Pinal Avenue and at Ocean View Street.

The wells-to-lake water line is complete. This will supply our lakes with much-needed water and the lakes will in-turn supply the irrigation system, which will allow for planting.

The footing and stem wall construction at the lake edges should wrap up this month and the lakes are scheduled to be filled in mid to late February, with planting to follow. Meetings will soon take place in order to coordinate the electrical and lake lighting installation in February.

Approximately 95% of the meandering sidewalk around the lakes has been installed, and sidewalks in the retention basins are staked and being poured. Fine grading, with a gannon as well as by hand, continues along the infrastructure and around the lakes.

The storm drain installation is 75% complete and should be complete by the end of January. The controller wire installation continues and Southwest Gas has begun tying in its infrastructure main to the parcel mains.

ONSITE
Pressure tests of the onsite water lines have been successfully completed and the entire system has been simultaneously chlorinated. The results should post in early February.

Dry utility installations are proceeding extremely well – reaching the 80% completion mark – and the gas main is currently being installed in the majority of the parcels.

The curb and sidewalk continue to be poured with approximately 1,500 yards poured to date, and the perimeter wall continues to be installed. Stone for the columns has been ordered and column caps have arrived.

OFFSITE
The offsite water installation is 95% complete with minor tie-ins remaining.

One of the best things about making your home at Villago is that you're right next door to a small city filled with old-fashioned charm and lots of fascinating history. Founded in 1879, Casa Grande was named after the nearby Hohokam Indian ruins. Casa Grande offers all the essentials, with everything from outlet malls to major department stores, great dining establishments, and two top-quality hospitals –all just minutes away from your home. And with 17 public and private schools in the area – in addition to the planned schools within Villago – you'll have plenty of educational choices for your family.
Working parents will really appreciate the city's two daycare centers for their youngsters. And there's always something to do here – play golf, catch a movie, go bowling, or have a picnic in one of the city's 18 parks.
