INFRASTRUCTURE AND ONSITE
2007 is shaping up to be a great year at Villago! The community’s infrastructure is looking great, with the Villago Regional Park now complete and ready for use. Tennis and basketballs courts are in place, and the Villago amphitheater stage has been poured. Soon this spacious park will be home to plenty of family activities and events.
As we complete construction on the Regional Park’s amenities, we’re also focusing on landscaping and planting the area. The grass in the park’s ball fields has come in, and we’re currently reseeding these fields.
Landscaping has also been big in the pocket parks this month, with Mexican fan palms now installed throughout. In all, 26 of these palms now surround the ramadas, making a great accent for the parks. Last week, we painted the ramada columns, installed the remaining granite, and planted rye grass. Once the barbecues, benches and pavers are installed, the pocket parks will be complete!
We finished the infrastructure landscaping along Lakeside Boulevard and Ocean View Street this month, as well as added charming LED lighting to the palm trees along Villago Parkway. Natural stone was also added to the entry tower this month. For February, just a few minor landscaping touch-ups remain. Overall, Villago is quickly transforming into a beautiful, vibrant community!

One of the best things about making your home at Villago is that you're right next door to a small city filled with old-fashioned charm and lots of fascinating history. Founded in 1879, Casa Grande was named after the nearby Hohokam Indian ruins. Today, Casa Grande still has that special small-town feel, along with a community of friendly people who are proud of their low crime rate and affordable taxes. Casa Grande offers all the essentials, with everything from outlet malls to major department stores, great dining establishments, and two top-quality hospitals – all just minutes away from your Villago home. And with a school under construction that will be open for the upcoming school year, your kids will be able to walk to school. Working parents will really appreciate the city's two daycare centers for their youngsters. And there's always something to do here – play golf, catch a movie, go bowling, or have a picnic in one of the city's 18 parks. It's everything you could want to live a “grande” life in a relaxed, friendly, small-town setting.
