As a way to keep you informed on the progress of Villago, we will continue to update you at various times throughout the construction process. You'll find it's a great way to get the latest news on Casa Grande's newest master-planned community.
INFRASTRUCTURE
All of Villago’s retention basins continue to undergo heavy manicuring, beginning with the areas adjacent to the lakes at the north end of the project and working toward the south. The meandering sidewalk installation is 95% complete and the remaining sections will be added after the irrigation crossings are installed, which is scheduled for next week. All manholes have been located and adjusted, and the survey monuments have all been installed and sealed.
Preparations for Villago’s infrastructure lighting began this week, as Sonotubes for the streetlights were delivered and are ready to be installed. The infrastructure will soon have power – APS has pulled the cable and switching cabinet covers are scheduled for installation within the next couple weeks. The retention basins along the infrastructure continue to be manicured and AAA Landscaping will begin installing the irrigation line along the infrastructure early October. Also, the tie-in at McCartney Road is complete.
OFFSITE
The offsite water installation continues to run smoothly and is now expected to also be completed late October.
ONSITE
Onsite operations continue to move quickly with finished pads completed and scheduled for certification. Wet utility installations will complete next month with dry utility installations scheduled to wrap up in late November. Parcel perimeter walls are scheduled to begin next week, while wet utility installations continue and are expected to be completed late October.

One of the best things about making your home at Villago is that you're right next door to a small city filled with old-fashioned charm and lots of fascinating history. Founded in 1879, Casa Grande was named after the nearby Hohokam Indian ruins. Today, Casa Grande still has that special small-town feel, along with a community of friendly people who are proud of their low crime rate and affordable taxes. Casa Grande offers all the essentials, with everything from outlet malls to major department stores, great dining establishments, and two top-quality hospitals –all just minutes away from your home. And with 17 public and private schools in the area – in addition to the planned schools within Villago – you'll have plenty of educational choices for your family.
Working parents will really appreciate the city's two daycare centers for their youngsters. And there's always something to do here – play golf, catch a movie, go bowling, or have a picnic in one of the city's 18 parks. It's everything you could want to live a “grande” life in a relaxed, friendly, small-town setting. Stop by for a look around now at www.visitvillago.com/casagrande.

Whether you're a first-time homebuyer or own a home today, everyone could use more information that could save time and money when purchasing a new home. Villago has made a special
commitment to keep our future homebuyers up-to-date with the latest industry information to help make your experience as rewarding as possible.
The first step you should take in buying a new home is going to a lender and finding out what you can afford. A lender can determine this by considering your debt-to-income ratio, which is a comparison of your gross(pre-tax) income to housing and non-housing expenses. When determining the maximum loan amount you can afford, your lender will consider the cash you have available for down payment, closing costs and your credit history.
A lender can also help you get pre-approved. Pre-approvals provide valuable information as to the amount of a home you can afford and any other conditions that may be applicable for a home purchase transaction. Being pre-approved shows all parties involved in the real estate transaction that you are serious, ready and have already obtained financing. In fact, many real estate agents will ask for your pre-approved letter before they'll even show you a home. A pre-approval requires a review of your credit report, pay stubs, assets, liabilities and other pertinent information.
